We are often reminded to seek God first and all other things will be added unto us. However, this requires us to trust God and simply believe in Jesus.
Without faith and trust in God, it will be impossible to please Him, but if we please Him through faith in Jesus, then we know that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6
What then is Faith?
- Faith in God begins with believing that He does not only exist, He is existence.
- Faith in God means choosing Jesus as your Lord and Saviour; trusting Him with your life, even when you have no clue what’s the next step.
We seek God daily by reading, listening and meditating on the Word in the Bible. We seek Him through prayer.
We exercise our faith by trusting God in all situations, in good as well as in difficult times. God says “ You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:1. Today, let us simply trust Him and believe in His word and promises. He is The Rewarder. Amen!
